Model Auditions - The Band Shoppe Catalog 2012
September 28th, 2011 - between 1:00pm - 6pm
@ Photics Photography Studio - Evansville, Indiana

YOU MUST MEET REQUIREMENTS!
Male & Female Models - all ethnicities needed
Must look at least 15 years old (no one under 14 please), and LOOK no older than 19. (MUST look like Jr. High or High School Age!)
Dance, Cheer or Marching Band experience preferred but not necessary.
Must be in good physical shape.
Models must be between 5'4" and 6'1" tall.

Photo shoots for catalog will be scheduled from December 2011 through February 2012. You must be flexible with your schedule (and school) during this time if chosen.

You MUST reserve your spot at the auditions via email!!!

When are the Auditions?
September 28, 2011 from 1 - 6pm (Please reserve your time today!)

Do I have to be there the whole time?
No. Come anytime between 1PM and 5:45PM and plan to spend about an hour at the studio. It may take more or less time depending on the number of potential models there at the same time as you.

What do I need to wear and/or bring?
Females will be provided with a sample garment to wear for test photos and head shots.
Females must make sure they wear appropriate undergarments
(nude and seamless if possible).
Females should wear their hair down and natural with natural makeup.
Males must have clean shaven faces.
Males, please wear jeans or shorts with a regular fitting shirt
(no really baggy clothes please).
Both males and females should wear regular street shoes, no high heels please.

You can bring additional professional modeling photo to attach to your application if you have one.

What will we be doing?
Each model will fill out a Band Shoppe modeling application and try on a test garment.
We will then take your measurements so that if you are selected to model we can custom make garments that fit you. Please know your height and current weight when you come to the model call. Each model will then have a head shot and a full body photograph taken.

How much does Band Shoppe pay models?
Band Shoppe pays individuals selected for photography at least $50 per hour.
The rate may vary if you are currently with an out of town agency as we will pay your agency directly.

Do I get paid for coming to the model call?
No. The model call is not a paid photo session, it is an audition.
(You do not pay US anything either!)

When is catalog photography?
Band Shoppe schedules catalog photography between December and February.
Other shots are scheduled throughout the year as needed.

When will I know if I have been selected for photography?
We will begin selecting models in mid to late October.
You will receive a letter and email letting you know whether we have selected you for photography.

Do I have to able to dance/be in band/be in color guard?
While dance or marching band experience will help you while modeling for Band Shoppe, it is not required.

Does Band Shoppe use Agency models?
We accept Models with most Agencies, and also freelance models.
