Character breakdowns:
MOLLY
25-35 years old, pretty. She has a job working at a successful advertising agency, in the billing department. She loves her job because it sounds glamorous, but is really not very demanding. She is single, but dating, and hopes to find a man someday that will love her and understand her, as she really is.
BILL
Handsome 30-35 year-old single guy, who at one time aspired to be an actor in L.A., but the competition was too great, and his contacts too few, so he returned to his hometown disappointed. He makes good money though, as a sales rep for a construction company, where his good looks serve him well. But secretly, he is unhappy and frustrated, with his job, his friends, and particularly dating. He’s gotten cynical about ever finding his true love.
EMILY
Age 5-8, is Molly’s daughter. She is petite and pretty like her mother, and fancy’s herself to be the sister of Barbie, her favorite doll. She is prissy, and girly, and already loves ribbons and bows and her mother’s make-up drawer. (Please note that hair color does not matter for this part)
JONNY
Age 6-8, is Molly’s son. He is already a manly boy, and has no interest in his mother or sister. He wants to go out with his friends and play ball, climb trees, and play video games, and otherwise get into mischief. He’s also occasionally rebellious, refusing to do as he’s told.
