Casting Workshop

Kentucky Shakespeare will be hosting award winning Casting Director, Michael Donovan. Michael will be teaching day and a half a scene study and casting workshop on Friday and Saturday, December 10th & 11th. Space is very limited. CASTING DIRECTOR

Michael is a 5-time recipient of the Casting Society of America's Artios award, given for Outstanding Achievement in Casting. Michael casts for film, television, theatre and commercials. His theatre credits include shows produced at Pasadena Playhouse, the Hollywood Bowl, La Jolla Playhouse, the Intiman Theatre, Cleveland Playhouse, Arizona Theatre Company, the Alliance Theatre, Kirk Douglas Theatre, Ebony Repertory Theatre, Reprise Theatre Company, International City Theatre, Post St. Theatre, Ensemble Theatre of Santa Barbara, Laguna Playhouse, the Falcon Theatre, and the Colony Theatre. Some of his credits include Guys and Dolls (at the Hollywood Bowl) starring Jessica Biel and Brian Stokes Mitchell, Fences (at Pasadena Playhouse) starring Laurence Fishburne and Angela Bassett, Amadeus (at the Hollywood Bowl) starring Neil Patrick Harris, Much Ado About Nothing (at the Kirk Douglas Theatre) starring Helen Hunt, and Jason Alexander's production of The Fantasticks starring Eric McCormack (Reprise).
