COMPOSERS/LYRICISTS/BOOKWRITERS
Applications are now open for submissions to the 2012 West Village Musical Theatre Festival, June 11-17th 2012. This annual event allows professional level and aspiring professional creative teams/individuals from all over the world to produce work in New York's largest short-musical festival. Chosen applicants will produce their works in a full Off-Broadway performance at the lavish New York Live Arts Center. Other events this year include: Taste of the West Village Industry Event, Preview Concert, Closing Gala and exclusive Cast Party. Series winners will be recognized in the Third-annual "Westies" Awards Ceremony.

Past festival winners and participants have had their shows picked up and optioned for development by major Broadway and Off-Broadway Production Companies (Davenport Theatricals, Small Pond Entertainment, PCC Productions, Manhattan Theatre Group, Synchronicity, Theatre For a New Audience, et. al.)
