"Toast" CASTING CALL

An independent feature comedy/drama, Toast is set to begin principle photography in Lexington during Summer 2012 and is looking for its primary cast.

Character Descriptions are as follows:
Sheena: Female (mid-twenties): This is the lead role. Attractive, sheltered, ignorant, and somewhat vapid, while inquisitive and adventurous. Only a dedicated actress need audition. A willingness to throw herself into a role and get her hands dirty required.
Gertrude: Female (mid sixties to mid eighties): The supporting role. She is frustrated, apathetic and, vain, battling on-setting dementia. While a large and challenging role, this should only cover one to one and a half days of shooting.
Supporting Cast:
Dick: Male (twenties-thirties): Sheena’s boyfriend, straight-laced, compassionate, normal.
Tricia: Female (late-twenties to late-thirties): Sheena’s sister, sassy, spoiled, scatterbrained, out there.
Richard: Male (thirties to sixties): A church secretary, oblivious, kind, typical religious person.
